PVT and ice storage
PVT modules are often used in combination with ice storage. A plus energy system is thus very easy to implement: For multi-family houses, superstructures and even for high-rise buildings. Ice storage is 100% sustainable and can also be implemented, where ground source heat pumps are not approvable or not economical enough.

PVT and earth probe regeneration
Another common application of PVT collectors is the regeneration of ground probes and ground registers. They prevent the cooling of the ground, increase the efficiency of the heat pump and minimize the length of the borehole heat exchanger. The larger the ground probe field, the more important is its regeneration.
