PVT - Direct Source Heat Pump

In Stäfa, the existing solar thermal collectors in two apartment blocks were replaced with our Blackpearl FSG-335 i hybrid modules and supplemented with one PV field each.

When replacing the gas heating system, the client opted for a PVT hybrid collector system as a direct source for the heat pump, achieving a COP of up to 8.1.

The client decided in favour of a phased renovation of his house and the installation of a new mini-ice storage / PVT system from PVT Solar AG.

This pilot project stands for numerous other REFH, EFH and smaller MFH projects with a heat pump output of up to 30 kW.

The beautiful villetta is located on the south-eastern slope of Brissago. In the steeply sloping terrain, an ideally sunny "energy railing" with PVT Solar hybrid collectors could be installed at the property boundary.
